What is game day without snacks and a favorite for us is Chili! I have several chili recipes for different occasions but this one is always a go to for game day especially if I need to whip it up quick! This one is pretty enter changeable in that you can use your own ingredients or store bought. You'll see what I mean!
Ann's Game Day Chili Recipe
Meatballs - Homemade or Frozen Bag Meatballs
2- 28oz Cans of Crushed Tomatoes
1 Jar of Salsa or 2 Cups of Homemade Salsa
1 Sweet Onion diced very well
4 Tbsp Tomato Paste
1 Standard Size Can Light Red Kidney Beans Drained
2 Standard Size Cans Dark Red Kidney Beans Drained
1 Can Corn
1 diced Jalapeño Pepper
1 TBSP BBQ Sauce
2 Tsp A1 Steal Sauce
2 Tsp Sugar
2 TBSP Chili Powder
1/2 - 1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp Sage
1 Tsp Salt
Combine Meatballs, Tomatoes, Salsa in pan and simmer until meatballs are soft then crush the meatballs and add remaining ingredients, simmer at least 20 mins to thicken. Serve with melted cheese and tortilla chips to dip
